I read a stupid NY newspaper article that said the A's have two choices with Zito...1) trade him and get something or 2) let him walk and get nothing

I swear if another ignorant person says the A's get nothing when Zito walks my head a splode...the A's will not "get nothing." They get a 1st round pick and a sandwich pick. They've done it before (let players walks), which the article mentioned, but they continued to say the A's "get nothing."



There was another article that finally realized what I've said all the along...even if they were just quoting another GM.

oh, but there still are a million NY articles saying Zito is going to NY at some point before the July deadline...
