We needed that; nice job Haren and that's our first CG by a starting pitcher this year.

Haren was outstanding. Now you know his up side, I don't think he can pitch any better than that, especially against a team that gets on base as much as the Yanks. Even the mistake to Posada, I believe he was up on the count 1-2. That's a lazy fly ball in Oakland. Good win Oaks, good luck with Seattle.

After his 1 - 7 start last year we saw how good he could be. He was one of the best pitchers after May along with Blanton.
