I'll take it and we're going to need a lot more like that. The hitting still isn't there and the ninth inning was the usual adventure but a win is a win.

I'm watching the Angels game right now and Hud is all over Angels hitters nuts even tho they're getting blasted 8-3.

11 men batted in the 1st off Loaiza...5 - 0 Royals going into the bottom of the 2nd. It's raining again...maybe they won't get it in

Loaiza is gone after walking the first two hitters in the 2nd. His line so far (because those two runners are his) is 1 inning, 4 hits, 5 earned runs, 6 walks, 1 homer, and his ERA is a robust 10.25 as of now.

Loaiza is toast and now we need two starters.

5 - 1 Royals...Chavez doubled in Melhuse after he has doubled with 2 k's in between...Thomas just flew out to end the top of the 3rd.

6 - 1 Royals. Runner on 2nd with 2 outs and a rain delay now in the bottom of the 3rd.

and the game has just been cancelled...it's as if nothing happened...well, we still know Loaiza ain't right

The game has been rescheduled for Friday August 18th as part of a doubleheader...hopefully, we'll be hot by then.

Maybe by then Loaiza will have gone more than an inning without getting blasted. I'm glad it was cancelled.

Bradley isn't in the lineup again. And Street hasn't pitched since the 18th...why didn't they just put him on the DL then? If he pitches today it'll have been 12 days (almost 15)...
