it's 6 - 1 Tigers now in the top of the 5th. Blanton is out, Saarloos in, and I'm out...I won't be back tonight unless they A's make this a game. Kotsay and Chavez are sitting this game out. Afternoon game tomorrow.

Also, **** Macha! I know Johnson is struggling, but before this series started Macha said Johnson would be in there at 1st base and Swisher has been there both games...which is fine, but why would you publicly say Johnson would be in there and then not do it? asshole...

I didn't know that. Anyways, looks like I didn't miss much. Sad thing is the Angels lost again but we can't keep hoping for that and don't look now but here come the Rangers.

As for Dan Johnson, he remains on the bench even though Macha had said Sunday that the first baseman, with one hit in 31 at-bats (.031) would be in the lineup against Detroit.

That's still likely to happen, Macha said, but not until Thursday.
