1996 World Series Game 5 on YES Right Now

it's 10AM on Sat morning and it's on until 11:30(going to the 5th inning now). It was the pettitte-Smoltz 1-0 classic. This might help make us forget about the recent bumbling. For those who miss it or are w/o YES I do have all 6 games on tape from '96(I need to convert to DVD) as well as a ton of other games from the great run we had.

What happened the years after that game eased the pain of it but I still cronge when I see griffey rounding 3rd That was an unbelievable series though and eevn had we won we weren't beating Cleveland, Cone was shot after that series and wetteland was struggling. I was at game 1 and I remember when griffey hit that towering HR off the facade in RF how dead siletn the place got. We wound up winning then won the Leyritz game the next day but Scott Kaminieceki couldn't hold a 5 run lead in Game 4

I still find it fascinating how the great exploits of so many teams can be written on a postage stamp, while the exploits of the YANKEES takes books.
