After 4 1/2 Yanks now up 6-0 and Jays still lead 4-1.
After 4 1/2 Yanks now up 6-0 and Jays still lead 4-1.
After 6 the Yanks still lead 6-0, in the top of the 6th still 4-1 Jays.
OMG Unfreaking believable...Could it be any better for the Yankees?
I was thinking the other night about what an opportunity lost it was when we lost 17-9. We had come back and were up a couple of runs. The RedSox and Indians both lost.

if things stay the way they are (Yanks win and Sox lose tonight to make Yanks up by 2), the Yanks only have to win 1 game this weekend to clinch, while the Sox need a sweep...they wouldn't be able to tie.
After 6 1/2 8-0 Yanks.
4-3 Jays, Sideshow manny hit a 2 run HR.
8-2 Yanks, Lopez 2 run shot.
A big if Toronto can pull it out.
If we go up 2...it would be a nice excorsism for what happened last year. We go in there and take 1 or 2 and win the division and probably knock them out of the playoffs.

Sturtze gets a ground out, inning over still 8-2 Yanks after 7.
After 7 1/2 still 8-2 Yanks and after 6 1/2 still 4-3 Jays.
Cleveland won 6-0. Beantown could be in trouble if they lose.
Sturtze gives up 2 run HR and it's 8-4 Yanks. Still not worried but can our pen ever hold a huge lead?
