OMG Unfreaking believable...Could it be any better for the Yankees?

I was thinking the other night about what an opportunity lost it was when we lost 17-9. We had come back and were up a couple of runs. The RedSox and Indians both lost.

Hopefully Tor can hold on, our game is over- Bal is completely dead. Going into Bos up 2 will be nice but we were up 3 last year and lost 4 straight so I won't relax until we clinch.

if things stay the way they are (Yanks win and Sox lose tonight to make Yanks up by 2), the Yanks only have to win 1 game this weekend to clinch, while the Sox need a sweep...they wouldn't be able to tie.

A big if Toronto can pull it out.

If we go up 2...it would be a nice excorsism for what happened last year. We go in there and take 1 or 2 and win the division and probably knock them out of the playoffs.

Cleveland won 6-0. Beantown could be in trouble if they lose.

Sturtze gives up 2 run HR and it's 8-4 Yanks. Still not worried but can our pen ever hold a huge lead?
