Embree solidifies the Jays lead by coming in and walking a batter then gives up a hit to give them a 6-4 lead.

    Nice job Embree.

Making up 1 run is too easy in the ninth. Posada, Sierra and Williams. 5-7 years that would not be a bad thing to have them coming up. 2005 it looks bleak.

Cleveland won 11-0 and Oakland is up 12-1 in the bottom of the 7th.

Posada single...Cano Double...6-5 but Sierra and Williams both made outs.

It is up to the Captain..Jeter.

    ...And he strikesout looking.

Nice going Embree. That insurance run was the difference.

Oh well, at least Bos lost. We can't be more than a game out at worst going into Fenway next week.

Realistically, IMO...we need to be leading by 1 game at least going into Boston.

We can't expect to take 2 out 3 or a sweep. I feel we can do it but to play loose and up to our true level...I am hoping for a game or two lead.
