    As it should be...

    The final month will be all A.L. East foes. 2 series of 3 games vs Boston, Toronto and Tampa Bay along with 2 series of 4 games with Baltimore.

    We have Small, Chacon and Johnson for our first set of 3 with Boston.

    Boston has a set of 3 games with LA-Anaheim and a set of 4 games with Oakland besides their AL East foes.

    For the Yankees, it comes down winning vs our division to retain our Division Crown that we have held since 1998.

    Small, Chacon, and Johnson...the Yankees's 3 best starters. Who woulda thunk it? (well aside from the Medium Unit)

    Win or Lose there will be no excuses from the Yankees. It is ridiculous that they can't handle the D-Rays.

    MLB must be beaming with pride over the scheduling...

    Cleveland has 6 games left with the Chicago Whitesox and they are currently 3.5 out. 1 set in both Chicago and 1 in Cleveland.

    Anaheim and Oakland have a 4 game set at Oakland and Oakland is 2 games out.

    The Yankees and RedSox 1.5 games separate them and they have a 3 game set left in Boston.

    3 division winners and 1 wild card. 2 of the teams mentioned will go on an early vacation.
