    Ramiro Mendoza Watch

    Ramiro Mendoza pitched a perfect inning yesterday to earn a relief victory for Triple-A Columbus.
    Mendoza has allowed two runs -- one earned -- and four hits in eight innings for Columbus. He's expected to be added to the Yankee pen next month.

    Not a great day today, however his first day back in a while you dont put him in during a 2-1 situation. That was a bad move, Tom Gordon should have been in that loss was a big blow.
