No one would take Ellsbury's contract, no way he gets moved. Move Betances? Are you serious about that?

i understand the thought process on dealing betances, since we scumbagged him in arby. but id rather just give him his proper extension, and not play games with him. gardner has value... deal him. anything you can get. ill gladly roll with an outfield of frazier, hicks, judge for as long as we can.
Betances would be the first one that I would deal, because he would get us a pretty penny. Also I didn't think anyone would take McCann/Nova. Someone did. Someone out there will trade for Ellsbury. Sabathia is another one you should consider dealing. He's done well this year, and maybe could get something decent.
Bottom line is this team needs to sell these older players and do exactly what they did last season. Their recent play since June is proof of that.
Players they should trade:
Sabathia - Should be able to get something decent like they did for Beltran last year.
Gardner - He's had a power surge this year, so you might get something nice for him.
Ellsbury - Take what you can get. Even offer to take some money to make a deal happen.
Chapman - Trading Andrew Miller was an awful idea; Bringing this clown back is even worse
Betances - Should be able to get something nice for him like the Chapman deal last year.
Tanaka - I can't stand the thought of having this guy on this team next year, because he opts in, because he knows he's not worth 5 Mil a year, let alone 20 Mil a year.
Another hyped Jap pitcher flames out early. Typical. I miss the unheralded Hiroki Kuroda and his consistency.
There is no way Chapman, Sabathia or Ellsbury get dealt. Do you really think anyone would be willing to take on their contracts and their aging bodies? Absolutely no way that happens. This team may not be one player or deal away from a championship but this team will continue to contend until the season is over.
Aaaaannnnddd just as you said that, Tanaka pitched great on Sunday Night Baseball against Boston. Don't count him out, yet.
They're 9-21 in their last 30. I fail to see how this team stays above .500.

Looks like they're zeroing in on Frazier, Robertson reunion, and Kahnle
Finally won a series, woo! Clint Frazier is a lot of fun to watch.
Yanks get Sonny Gray. Guess the A's are back to being the Yanks' farm team.
Billy "get fleeced" Beane is the man.
Judge is looking like the Judge from last year right now.
don't be too soon to judge.
I'm not worried about Judge.. He's just in a funk and he'll get out of it.
