Dang Buck... I hope you were watching that live.
I haven't seen many pitches with late break like Miller's. :badass:
That was one hell of a game last night. Super fun to watch a game like that! Tonight was a lot of fun too though ha.
Eovaldi looked solid.
Miller's slider was breaking so sharply that the catcher was struggling to make the catch.
If the Yanks make it to thru the 6th... look out. Betances, Miller, then Chapman.
Yankees have won 6 straight and have gotten back to .500 .... :wat:
Eovaldi has pitched awful in his last couple of starts. Would really like to see Nova pick the win up for the Yankees today before they head to Minnesota for a 4 game set. They have a pretty easy schedule for the next couple days and into next week. Colorado again today, then Minnesota for four and then Colorado and Minnesota come to the Bronx. This is a chance for the Yankees to win a lot of games in a short amount of time.
Sabathia his still pitching pretty good.. Rehab dun ya good, bruh.
Why does everyone think they will/are planning on getting rid of Miller, Chapman and even Betances(?sp).
I guess to get back a ton of prospects? Not their usual style.
Well, it all depends on basically what happens in the next month before the deadline. It's not like the Yankees to be sellers instead of buyers at the deadline, you are right about that. However, if they are in a position where they can tell they aren't going to make the playoffs this year and could get some valuable prospects from some teams such as the Rangers and Cubs.. I think they would consider it. Both of those clubs look like they will be in contention and could really use some help in the bullpen to get them through October. If the Yankees are in contention, I doubt there is any way they would even consider dealing one of those three guys. If they are out of it by the deadline, I wouldn't be surprised to see one of them go and the Yankees try to build some more value in their farm.
BTW... the Hurricanes just made a pretty good trade with the BlackHawks to get a talented player. Check it out.
I just read up on that trade.. Nice. Would like to see them compete a little better next year!
Why can Pineda not ever get anybody out with 2 outs?
