    Next up Indians

I think we need a minimum 2 out 3 here. We weathered a good portion of the storm as far as the tough July schedule we had. We are 2 games behind Boston in the Loss column and 2.5 overall.

We are starting to get some people healthy and this may be the time to make a move.

We have 3 at Cleveland then 3 at Toronto and then back home for 3 with the Chi-Sox as well as 3 at home with Texas.

Boston has KC for 3 at home then 3 at Minnesota. They have Texas for 3 at home and the Chi-Sox for 3 at home.

Not an incredibly tough month for Boston, but we don't get them until September 9-11.

Just keep winning series, we lost only 1 series in July- we just need to keep taking 2 of 3.

The Yankees definitely have to win at least 2 not to lose ground because Boston has the easiest series possible...home vs Kansas City.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

6-5 now, as Sheffield scores on a WP.

Another bad loss, horrible job by Mussina as he was given a 4-0 lead and oculd not hold it. We are now 4 back in the L column of Boston and fading fast.

I like Wickman going back to his days as a Yankee but man he has gotten huge and I sat there watching him close out those first 2 games scratching my head wondering how he's doing it. He doesn't have great stuff, doesn't have great control but he gets people out. Last night it was about time we got to him, we needed that W- couldn't afford to get swept there. Good luck the rest of the way.

Didn't realize you were playing that well. If you keep doing that I think Yankees win the division.
