    Yankees No more luxury tax for NYY?

    New York Yankees' Hal Steinbrenner plans to lower team payroll - ESPN New York

    One of the bright spots in the new collective bargaining agreement is the heavier tax on teams like the Yankees. One part of the article really struck me:
    And they already are committed to $118 million for 2013 and $75 million for 2014, all of it going to four players: Alex Rodriguez, CC Sabathia, Mark Teixeira and Derek Jeter.
