    Yankees Yankees Clinch Postseason Birth

What a season. Been a season with a lot of ups and downs and a season to definitely remember. It is not even close to being over yet, though. The Yankees need to take care of business and win the AL East and then then keep that momentum that they will have from winning the division and carry it over into the postseason. But for now, its a nice relief to know that we have clinched a playoff spot and that we will be playing some ball in October. It was a good win last night over the Jays. I am still worried about the rotation a bit. Hopefully Javvy can have a quality outing tonight and the pieces of the puzzle to the rotation will be put into place. We had some great situational hitting last night and CC pitched outstanding yet once again. The Yankees have gotta continue to play quality baseball because the season isn't even close to being over yet.

Now let's see if they can overcome the Rays and take the division.

As a Twins' fan, I prefer facing the Yankees in a best of 5 series with home-field advantage. The Yankees have CC Sabathia and Phil Hughes and then ???.
