Thread: The last game of the first half: What will the Unit give us today?

The last game of the first half: What will the Unit give us today?

    I hope 7-8 innings 1-2 runs and 10 Ks.

I hope our offense gives him a ton of support.

We will then gain a game on either Baltimore or Boston.

Middle of the 2nd 2-0 Indians.

Unit allowed a run in the 1st and 2nd. It is probably a good time for our bats to come alive now!!!

Ruben walks, loaded bases w/ 1 out for Flaherty- it's better than Jorge coming up.

Flaheryt gets a sac fly to cut it to 2-1, better than Jorge who would have struck out or grounded into a DP.

    1st and 3rd w/ 2 out for Melky.

Melky grounds out but the lead is cut in half.

I am glad that we at least got something. We shouldn't be playing from behind like yesterday 7-2. This offense can make a 2-3 run lead disappear easily even in late innings but much more is tough for anyone.

Randy gets out w/ no further damage, after 2 1/2 it's still 2-1 Cle w/ the top of the yankk order coming up. We need to do some damage this half inning.

That was huge for Randy to get out without allowing another run. This is a good time to get the momentum shifted our way.

We need the bats to get to work.

A nice string of clutch hits would be nice.
