Yankees Royals @ Yankees Series Thread

Little late on this one but the Yankees have a 2-1 series lead in this set. They won Thursday 10-4, Friday 7-1 and today they lost 4-7. Sergio Mitre pitched today and didn't have the best outing. He pitched 4.1 IP giving up 7 hits and 5 ER. After Mitre came out though Dustin Moseley came in and through 1 hit 4.2 innings. He pitched extremely well today and while listening to the broadcast John Sterling was saying how he thinks that Moseley could be considered for the next start instead of Mitre while Pettitte is out. Wouldn't be a bad idea considering how Moseley pitched very well today. News came out though that Pettitte feels like he will return a lot sooner than expected and so hopefully we won't have to try to find a starter that will fill the void and have Pettitte back in the rotation. Yankees have 1 game in the series left as they have Phil Hughes on the bump as Sean O'sullivan will take the hill again in Yankee Stadium for the second time in less than a week for two different teams. He was just at Yankee Stadium and threw a 2 hit ball game for the Halos as they beat the Yankees 10-2 on Tuesday when he was last there.
