    Yankees Ray/Yankees Series Thread

Swisher just got robbed of a home run by Gabe Kapler. Currently 3-1 Rays going into the top of the 6th. CC and Shields started the game for the two teams. Big series, lets go Yanks!

Anyone got the MLB At Bat app for their iPod or iPhone? I bought this app and it is so awesome. I get to listen every Yankees game, best investment ever.

Swisher wins the game in dramatic fashion yesterday hitting a walk off hitting a walk off single that brought in the winning run which put the Yankees up 3 games on Tampa now. Burnett faces off against Niemann in todays match up.

Yankees got beat today 10-5. Burnett left the game with lacerations on his finger. They said on the radio that he tripped up the clubhouse stairs and cut his hand. Tex and Jorge went deep today for the Yankees but Brginac went deep twice in todays game. Jeter continues his struggles going only 1-5. Pettitte and Price face off tomorrow in the rubber match of the series. If the Yankees win it will put the Rays 3 games outta first but if they lose, they'll only be 1 out of the AL East leaders.

Nope, that was a lie he initially told the trainer.
Burnett marched into New York’s clubhouse and slammed open a set of double doors leading to the showers at the far end of the room, slicing both hands on the plastic lineup-card holders pasted to the door.
A.J.'s temper is shades of Kevin Brown's (the pitcher).

Either way, they are both almost as dumb as Joel Zumaya hurting himself while playing Guitar Hero.

Yankees pick up the win today 9-5 putting them 3 games up on the Tampa Rays. Pettitte left the game to due to a strained groin injury. There isn't word on how severe it is yet but lets hope its nothing too bad. Chamberlain tried finishing the game off today but couldn't do it. Mo came in in the bottom of the 9th and threw one pitch to finish out the game. A-rod went deep for the 15th time today. The Yankees have the day off tomorrow but then get a home stand against the Angels. Rays now trail the Yankees 3 games back and the Sox are 6.5 back. 7 in the loss column.
