Good sign for Bronx fans that the Yanks have came out looking so solid. The Yanks are giving a good pitching performance of course, but it seems like the Red Sox are a bit lax tonight. Maybe its just me.

I saw Posada's homer...possibly one of the cheapest homers I've seen in a while. He hit it hard, don't get me wrong, but that's not a homer to any other area of the park lol.
Yup, totally agreed on that. Too bad I didn't take Posada in one of my leagues (he fell really low.)

The pitching is really getting knocked around here. Fell asleep a bit so missed a whole bunch. Luckily Papelbon isn't always lights out so the Yanks still have a shot.

Now's as good of a time as any to say this, but. . . The Yankees on pace for 162 losses!
I certainly liked what I saw in game 1. Although a loss...the Yankees have better OBP, speed and power in my opinion. I feel pitching and such will come and the Yankees will be much imporved even over their 2009 team.
