Yankees Sweep White Sox

The Yankees completed the 3 game sweep of the Chicago White Sox today defeating them 8-3 today. Joba started the game today but pitched only 3 innings and gave up 2 ER. Freddy Garcia started the game for Chicago pitched 6 innings and gave up 3 ER. The big turning point in the game though was the bottom of the 7th. The Yankees scored 5 runs in that inning. Melky and Jerry Hairston Jr. both drove in a run but Teixeira was the big story hitting a 3 run blast to right. Giving him 101 RBI and 32 HR's. Aceves will walk away from the game today with the win (9-1) and Freddy Garcia will walk away with the loss (0-2). New York will now head over to Baltimore to take on the O's for a three game series while Chicago will travel over to Minnesota to battle the Twins in a three game series.
