    Yankees Nationals @ Yankees 6/16/09

Game 1: Shairon Martis (5-1 5.04 ERA) VS CC Sabathia (5-4 3.68 ERA)

    Game 2: John Lannan (3-5 3.51 ERA) VS Chien-Ming Wang (0-4 14.34 ERA)

Game 3: Craig Stammen (0-2 5.86 ERA) VS Joba Chamberlain (3-1 3.84 ERA)

2 out of 3 isn't usually bad, but in this situation, it is. I think games 1 and 3 should be no problem but game 2 scares me just for the fact that Wang is on the mound. I think this should be his last shot at proving whether or not he can be in our rotation. If he can't deal and pick up a win against the Nationals, then I think the Yankees need to do something else with him.

I'm not saying send him away for good and don't ever let him come back. I'm saying if he has another rough outing have him go work on his mechanics or something of that sort. We all know he is a very good pitcher but right now, he just hasn't had is stuff. Give him some time off to just clear his mind, work on what he needs to and then let him come back and prove himself. I'm not trying to say we should ship him away for good. Maybe he needs to borrow one of Matsui's pornos or something. I don't know, just figure out something that will help him.

Cliff Lee started horribly and turned around quite well. Its not like its Silva whos sucked since entering the Pacific Time Zone.
