I supported Joe and still do and always will but we all have our opinions and sometimes we are right and sometimes we are wrong. Nope. Even if we stay on fire, no one can say that the first half was not a disappointment. It comes down motivation which is the manager's job. Other teams are more forgiving but the expectations here are much higher.
I am not saying to beat him with a stick, I hope they retire #6 in his honor but I had to question his drive and desire to motivate. He has answered the call as of late.
I still would like to see Girardi or Mattingly at the helm in the near future to shake things up but hopefully (we continue to play some great ball) not this year.
It is time to close when the brainiacs come out to play.
