well, most batters will get out of the way of a ball at their head...if they're going to take a hit to the head, then the runner has to go back to 3rd base because the play is dead. that's the correct play call...again, it's only if the batter squares around before the pitcher throws the ball. you're not trying to hit him...you're trying to prevent the suicide squeeze...you're trying to prevent him from bunting the ball and then trying to tag the runner out.

I get it, wso the batter ducks out of the way, the runner from 3B comes charging down the line, the catcher catches the none squeezed bunt and the runner coming from third is dead to rights.

It's another example of an anti-Yankees bias in the league office. I do not approve of Farnsworth pitching near Manny's head though it's about time we threw inside to him BUT the Yanks have been plunked and thrown at by the Sox for years and years and years and nothing ever happens to the Sox. Last year joba gets suspended, this time Farnsworth. The Yankees finally begin to retaliate a bit and of course they suspend the Yankee players.

MLB reduced Kyle Farnsworth's suspension from three games to one game.
Farnsworth will miss just one game after throwing a fastball behind Manny Ramirez on April 17. He's expected to sit out Friday.

If you're the Chief, I'm the Commissioner.
