    Cano Signs Four Year Deal

The Yankees and Robinson Cano are close to a four-year, $30 million contract, according to FOXSports.com's Ken Rosenthal.
Either Cano's agent was lying Tuesday when he said no discussions had taken place or this has come together as quickly as any deal in history. A four-year contract would take Cano right to free agency. He was a super-two player this year, so he was going to have four years of arbitration.
Finally the Yankees do something right this offseason. I like cano and was dead wrong about him when he first came up. I thought he was a one year wonder and he has done everything to prove me wrong.

    Good deal for the Yanks.

4 years, $30 mil? I like it, as long as we aren't breaking the bank for Cano and Wang I'm ok w/ it. Wang should get something similar.

They broke the bank for the old guys. Why not do it for the actual future of the team?
