    Yankees@Angels/Series Thread

    @
New York Yankees, 70-54 2nd AL East-Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, 72-51 1st AL West

    When:

    Game One-8/20/07 10:05 ET
    Game Two-8/21/07 10:05 ET
    Game Three-8/22/07 10:05 ET

    Where: Angel Stadium, Anaheim California

    Game 1:Phil Hughes, 2-1, 4.44 ERA VS Dustin Moseley, 4-2, 4.84 ERA

Game one prediction:I think the Yankees are going to keep rolling and win their fourth game in a row, Hughes will come out and throw one heck of an outing and the bats will just got crazy. Yankees win: 6-3.

    Game 2:Mike Mussina, 8-8, 4.76 ERA VS Kelvim Escobar, 13-6, 2.68 ERA

Game two prediction:The Yankees have never done the best against the Angels and plus Mussina hasn't been to hot lately. Escobar is a CY Young canidate and I think that he will be too much for the Yankees to handle. Angels win: 4-2.

    Game 3:Andy Pettitte, 10-7, 3.80 ERA VSJohn Lackey, 15-7, 3.32 ERA

Game three prediction:The Yankees will be hungry to come out and get a win before they have to head to Detroit to play a three game series. Pettite will come out and pitch a strong 7 or so innings, the game will come down to the wire but Mo will HOPEFULLY come in and lock it up. Yankees win: 5-3.

    Yankees win series: 2-1

MVP of the series: Robinson Cano
Tennessee Titans. Duke athletics. New York Yankees. Carolina Hurricanes. Portland Trailblazers.

I would love to get another series win here, we have some definite momentum coming off the Tigers series and anything is possible.

I feel like we have a good shot at games 1 and 3. I'm not too sure about Moose. Should be a frustrating series as always against the Angels.

Ya Moose is kinda shaky lately and plus I always hate playing the Angels because the Angels always seem to be able to just kill the Yankees. Just like Veovis said its very frustrating to play the Angels.

Too bad we can't put Joba in for Moose, that would be a wonderful thing. Hopefully the Yanks will overcome the Angels.

Come on Jorge just because you came through for us once doesn't mean you can't come through for us again! How can you strike out? On to the bottom of the tenth.

Ryan Buddy you suck! Gosh dangit I also can't believe the Yankees blew this one! I can't believe this is Ryan Buddy's first RBI. Oh my lanta now we are 5 back from Boston. If Abreu wouldn't have slid Melky could have gotten to that ball. Man I'm disapointed.

    Re: Yankees@Angels/Series Thread

    Yes, it's all Abreu's fault .

Problems: Hughes and ******* walks. Put the ball at the plate, you're filthy.
    Strikeouts. Again.
Bullpen not being able to hold a lead with runners on base. Horrible trend.
Kyle Farnsworthless being used in a terrible spot.
Jason Giambi pinch hitting for Andy Phillips. He's yet to mash in his PH role, so **** it, leave in Andy who's one of our best hitters close and late.
Use Edwar. Clearly they suck at hitting the changeup, but can hit any breaking ball. So bring in the gas throwing changeup man, asshole.
Give Vizcaino 2 days: classic rule, pitcher asks for a day off, give him two. He wouldn't come if he really didn't feel he needed it.

It wasn't really Abreu's fault I'm just sayin Cabrera could have gotten it but it was good effort on both of them so I can't really blame either one.
