    Lou Gehrig...keep in mind, Ruth hit 60 HRs that year, but you were only allowed to win once in your career back then, and he won in 1923.

    I know this one, Guidry was in CF, and Mattingly played 2B as well.
    I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

    Dang, so close but no cigar. I knew played in the OF I just couldn't remeber which one exactly. I knew it wasn't right so I guessed with left and unfortuntly it didn't pay off.

    Reggie Jackson! And nope, I didn't look it up. I had it memorized cause my dad has a picture of this team autographed by most of the players and he told me all about last year and I still remember it...

    Dude, I guess I asked the wrong World Series...or you did get it wrong...

    the season where Dent hit his HR...yeah, AVG leader was Brian Doyle...but Dent won the MVP that year.

    Well, since we're having some confusion I looked it up on baseball-reference and it says Reggie has the highest average in the WS. 1977 World Series - NYY vs. LAD - Baseball-Reference.com
