Thread: Yankees-Orioles/Series Thread

    Re: Yankees-Orioles/Series Thread

Hey, at least Seattle lost too. I am really looking forward towards Hughes vs. Bedard tomorrow. So far the Orioles have had their way with our pitching, so lets hope the kid gives his first good effort at the Stadium today. This is the first time I get to watch him pitch since that "no-hitter" against Texas. I'm pretty excited.

I kind of wish we won one for the Scooter last night though...

Exactly, at least Seattle lost so we didn't lose ground to them. it would have been nice if TB didn't blow it against the bottom of the Sox order but at least Seattle lost.

Well, looks like we got pretty lucky Danny. 6.2 IP, 2 H, 6 BB, 5 K. Not a gem, but I'll take it.

Haha! And so it did! Karstens and Brower are out, Henn and Ramirez are back up!

What Edwar did in AAA is no joke. You do not strike out 69 batters in 40 innings on accident. I think we all remember his MLB debut where he struck out the side. That change is absolutely filthy. Joe just needs to give him regular work to keep the pitch sharp.

Yankees down 3-0, A-rod just stole second with Matsui up to bat, 1-2 is the count.

Frustrating game so far. Hughes' velocity still isn't fully back yet.

Jeter made an error! Were starting to look like the Yankees at the beginning of the year.

This is still do-able. We just need to get Bedard out of the game, haha.

Haha, alright Edwar! 1 pitch 1 out. I certainly like Henn and Edwar more than Karstens and Brower. Good grief.

I hope that is it for Bedard. We've got a chance against that bullpen!

    Re: Yankees-Orioles/Series Thread

Well, looks like they want him to go seven. Damn.

    Re: Yankees-Orioles/Series Thread

Whew, he made that look easy. Probably because it was. I know Bedard is murder on lefties, but at this point, Cano, Giambi, and Abreu need to be given a chance to do something. This lineup today is weak.

Did I say it or did I say it? Edwar is awesome and that change is filthy. Now lets wake up bats!
