    Yankees@Orioles Series Thread

New York Yankees, 92-67 2nd AL East @Baltimore Orioles, 68-91 Fourth AL East

    Game one:Mike Mussina 11-10, 4.86 ERAVSJohn Leicester 2-3, 6.51 ERA

    Game two:Andy Pettitte, 14-9, 3.81 ERAVSDaniel Cabrera, 9-17, 5.36 ERA

    Game three:Kei Igawa, 2-3, 6.25 ERAVSBrian Burres, 6-7, 5.66 ERA

The Yankees are 7-8 agains the O's this season so hopefully the Yankees can sweep this series and get over the .500 mark against the O's. The Yankees will sweep though and Boston will lose two out of three to the Twins which will in turn make the Yankees AL East champs! (wishful thinking huh)

Tough loss.. Oh well the WC isn't that bad. Atleast we are in the playoffs and from recent history the WC has done very well. The Yankees are actually better off winning the WC then winning the division seeing as how they will play the Indians first round instead of the Angels.

I wanted the div but it's probably better off we face Cleveland. I don't mind facing LAA or Boston in a 7 game series but facing LAA in a 5 game series ha't worked out for us over the years. We've won the div for a decade and we haven't won a WS in 7 years solet's try it a new way.
