Got off to a slow start which isn't a huge surprise, shows signs of turning it around

His job is to get lefties out, but they've been tattooing him to the tune of a .321 average so he hasn't been as effective as his numbers indicate

Brilliant at the start, sucks lately...hopefully his buddy Rog can help him turn it around
Scott Proctor - C
Not his fault Torre uses him every waking moment, but he needs to be more effective in the 2nd half
Mariano Rivera - B
A horrific April, but has been very good sense despite being underworked all year by Torre
Ron Villone - B
Has been effective in limited time, is the man
Luis Vizcaino - C-
Pitched well as of late, but was atrocious for a long stretch

I keep hearing the reason he's on the roster is for his defense, but it's not that good

Has been everything the Yankees could have hoped for at this age, 3rd-best catcher in the league

Played a great defensive 1B and helped out on offense too
Robinson Cano - D
Hasn't hit for as much average or power as I hoped
Derek Jeter - A+
What more can you say about this guy?
Doug Mientkiewicz - D
Offense was an F----------------, defense was an A+++++++++
Andy Phillips - B
Hasn't been up long, but has been very effective so far
Alex Rodriguez - A+
First Half MVP of the AL

Bobby Abreu - D
Would be an F if not for one torrid stretch
Melky Cabrera - B
Starting to prove why he should be the everyday CF

Lucky he walks so much, but has been awful

Not close to the production we need from him

Didn't hit well when he played, who knows what happens when (if) he returns?

Still not sure about his bullpen handling

Sorry Brownie, but he's ****ed up som routine flips as of late. I like him, but if he errs, he's relatively useless.

Hasn't been atrocious, but he hasn't been anywhere near where he should be.
