    Kei Igawa

Is the absoulte worst pitcher I have ever seen on a Yankees uniform.

    Kyle Farnsworth.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Wow. IMO, that's a wasted $20 milllion. And for 5 years? Holy toledo. The A's lit him up today. He doesn't have much pop on his pitches, if any at all. He relys on the placement of his pitches, and today, they all caught too much of the plate. The A's clubbed 3 homers off of him, on into the upper deck. He was really not on his game today. Then again, I don't think that he was ever on his game in the first place.

He will be nothing more than a very high paid middle reliever come next season.

If that, even. I don't know if the people in the FO want to put up with him, especially if his outings are like his outing today.

They would have to dump alot of salary. Oh, but that is the name of the game for the Yankees. Get big salaries and dump big salaries and keep on losing in the process of it all.

I don't think he had nearly the stuff Dice-K had over there.

Neither do I. I know for a fact that Dice-K was like a hero over there. He was just wicked, and still is.

Yep, there is no comparison to the stuff Dice-K has and Igawa.

    Re: Kei Igawa

From what I remember Igawa only has a heater, a change, and a slider, and none are thrown very hard. Dice-K, on the other hand, has a bazillion different pitches, each one different than the next by changes of the release point or the grip of the ball.

    Re: Kei Igawa

Did you guys watch the game? he didn't pitch bad at all, the 2 HRs killed him but we had no offense. Our pitchers are pitching well but they have too much pressure to be perfect and they start falling apart late. if we could ver score a few runs and give them leads things would be a little different. Igawa hasn't been great but he's looked decent since being recalled. We can win w/ him as our #5.
