I agree with Mussina here. I don't really know what Torre was thinking. The guy was throwing shutout ball. Torre has to know that not every pitcher is going to shutout a team the whole game. I mean come on, 79 pitches?

Mussina was clearly tiring and I am tiring of Mussina's whining. Step up in a big game for us then start talking. I wish he'd shows half tat fire when he's pitching rather than when he is talking.

I thought Mussina came out too early personally but it worked out. Guess you can't really fault Joe for this because it did work out although I woulda had his head if it didn't work.
