    Sunday afternoon battle Yanks vs A's

    Going to the bottom of 2nd, 3-1 A's leading.

    Tino with a solo shot in the top of the 2nd. We are working goal #1 to get to .500.

    Some thoughts...

    Tino is making it easier to look at dumping Giambi. I felt Giambi could really be big for us but if not we need to cut our losses. Tino is playing as well as he ever has. I hope he drins a lot of water because I am sure he will be asked for a sample more than once this year.

    Giambi got a walk in our 3 run 4th but we really need to do something with him. He doesn't strike any fear in anyone for an extra base hit anymore. All he can play is DH and he is batting .198. A DH is supposed to specialize in hitting ala Edgar Martinez formerly of the M's.

    End of 6 it is 4-4. Randy Johnson 0 Strikeouts but is hanging in there. We have Matsui, ARod and Tino coming up in the top of the 7th.
