I did not sign him.. I was not bashing the yanks. I was just answering fact or fiction and then I was called a putz. If Ortiz wins 10 games it will be a great signing.

All you do is bash the Yankees, your jealousy is comical.

Isn't Fact/Fiction you answer the next Fact/Fiction, not the first one?

    OK, my turn:
F/F: This year is the year of Mariano's downfall.
F/F: The Bullpen is the biggest current worry on the team.
F/F: Without Sal Fasano and Bubba Crosby the Yankees will win 12 games.

Fiction. I don't know if there is a year.

Fact. I never feel confident besides Rivera.

Fact, 112 is a nice number.

Fact or Fiction : Torre will return next year.
I did a lot of good things as a sim league GM.

Ah, give me something clever to say here.

Thanks for the welcome back browntown....

Fact or Fiction : Torre will return next year.
Faction because if they win it then he will be back.... but if he doesn't I hate so say it and see it but I think he'll be gone if they fall short again.

Fact or Fiction:The starting rotation will be the Yankees biggest concern?
Tennessee Titans. Duke athletics. New York Yankees. Carolina Hurricanes. Portland Trailblazers.

Fiction, I still think the pen is.

Fact or Fiction : A-Rod will hit 45+ HRs.

I have a hunch that A-Rod will bounce back and have a huge year. Wipe last year off as a "bad" one and a learning lesson of life, and use that as motivation. Plus all these athletes not only have emotions, but huge egos as well and he will want to "clear" his name as a "choker" or whatever term(s) the fans want to use for him!

I sure hope so! A-Rod has had some awful moments as a player but is really a good guy and works his ass off. He deserves better results and better treatment from the fans. However, if he has a repeat performance of last year it is probably best for both him and the team to move on.

...so fact or fiction he hits 45

Oh yeah. Fact 45+, I say more like 50+!!! Players are resiliant (sp). They usually bounce back with big years after a rough previous year.

Hitting 45+ Hrs will be nice but he has to get it done in October. If he hits 60 Hrs, has 150 RBI and bats .370 it won't make a difference if he continues his struggles in October.

I'm pretty sure a beastly season like that would be more than enough for me.

So you'd be ok if he had incredible reg season #s, won another MVP then hit .120 w/ 1 RBI in postseason? I wouldn't, it's all about october at this point.

I'd be OK if we won it all, whether or not he does well. If A-Rod gets a hit every at bat and we lose in the ALCS I could care less.

Fact or Fiction: Phil Hughes will start for the Yankees before Humberto Sanchez does.

If we win it all I don't care what he does but he has come to symbolize our failures in recent years and I think if he gets hot early on in postseason it will have a great effect on the team.

Fact. He's a bigger calling card, he'll start the middle-end of this year.

F/F: JB Cox will show up in September and be a solid pen guy down the stretch.
