Yankees Yanks Win Rights to Igawa

$25-26 Million seems like a little much from what I hae read about him but I guess he gives us more options and means it's less liekly we'll waste money on overpaying for a mediocre pitcher like Lilly or Meche. The winning bid was excessive but that won't count against the luxury tax payroll so i guess they figured they could spend less money(payroll wise) on the same type of SP Lilly or Meche is.

Not a bad investment, if he works out. His salary won't be excessive, and only the salary counts against the luxury tax threshold, as you said.
I'm interested in seeing what the guy has.
