that was such a beautiful thing...i can't wait til i go up to college in boston and own those sox fans
I think the Sox are dead but i've seen them come back before so i'm not ready to dance on their graves just yet. A great series, obviously, and a 7 game lead w/ a month to play looks insurmountable but I hope they get over the Sox hangover and start playing well again. They weren't playing well pre-Sox and aren't now and this next series could determine home field against the also struggling tigers.

It's sad really....I mean who would have thought the Sox would lose 21 games in August? It doesn't even matter what the yanks do the rest of the way, they have the division won. What it came down to was this: the sox didn't capitalize on the yankees injuries for most of the season, now down the stretch the yanks are healthy and the sox, well, aren't.
