    Game Thread: Yanks-Angles

I have about an hour free, and I'm waiting for a sim in strikes back sim league.

So, why not a game thread.

Hopefully, we play good tonight. Maybe even arod will repeat his performance.

So far this season the Yanks either blowout their opponents or get lit themselves.

Wow, if we can't at least count on Moose then what do we have? Big Unit and Pavano may do good things but we have to have a third guy to go out and win.

I am disappointed in the Yankee offense with the opportunities they had and also in Moose in this loss.

T 3rd, Figgins singles, steals 2nd, goes home on a single by Vlad.

GA singles, Vlad to third, Sheffield bobbles and Vlad goes home.

Finely grounds out, GA to third...

Kevin Brown jams himself covering first but he's OK...

    Score now 2-0 botom 3rd......

Womack, nice bunt to get on base...

Sheffield grounds to SS, Womack out at 2nd, Sheffield safe at first, throw is wide, then steals 2nd..

Matsui lines to Erstad who throws to 2nd to get Sheffield....still 2-0 going into the 4th....

Not that big of a deal. Does it really matter how many HRs or RBIs a certain player gets that night. What should matter is that the Yankees win, and they didn't.
