    Jeter Injury

Ken Singleton just reported on YES it's just a bruised thumb, and Jeter is listed as Day-to-Day.

Best news from this game so far. That and Kevin Thompson's bases clearing double.

The Orioles announcers just confirmed that. Getting news this early is a good thing, because if there was a break or anything serious, there would be too much swelling to tell anything right now.

Yeah that makes me feel way better. With all these injuries its a wonder we're still taking 3 of 4 from the Tigers and 2 of 3 from the Orioles. I'd like to see what we could do with a full lineup...

You pretty much saw what we could do with a "full lineup" already. Why are we winning games ? Intangibles ! More hitting and running, executing bunts and just basics.
What is the worst source of diarrhea ?
    A)A bowl of chili, or
    B)Curt Schilling's mouth

True. But Imagine if we had Sheffield or Matsui in there instead of T. Long. We'd have power too.

That goes to show you that players still know those basics, despite hitting in a team that lived off the long ball since the turn of the century. Also, I can't believe your leaving out the bullpen, especially since your going to get Octavio Dotel back very soon. Once he is in there, and replaces Farnsworth(less) as the setup man, the Yankees have the top bullpen in the AL.
