Royals Yanks vs. Kansas City 5/26-28

The yanks return home this weekend for a 3 game series w/ the worst team in baseball. No excuses, I don't care how battered we are we need a sweep.

    The pitching matchups are:

    Elarton vs. Mussina tonight
    Affeldt vs. Wang Tomorrow
    Hernandez vs. Wright on Sunday

How can we have our only reliable starter facing the Royals and lose the game? A horrible, horrible loss. MNosse wasn't sharp in allowing 3 runs but we came back and the pen just imploded again. Brutal loss.

glad I did not have to remind you. KC had a 13 game losing streak. Nothing like losing to the worst team in baseball!

things could get worse, we could be 12 1/2 games out already and we could be closer to KC than we are to first.

AH shi* your are correct. But you knew this about the KC loss would draw attention to your forums. Just remember it is along way to go. Santana Liriano and Bonser is a great 1-3 sp punch. Silva and Baker produce we can say good bye to Radke. I would take my staff over yours anyday of the week. Think of my staff in Yankee land. You would be dangerous..

I would take our team over yours 11,000 times from sunday. And funny how your "stellar" pitching has been the epitome of ass sucking. Have fun wallowing in the bottom of your divsion.

I don't mind opposing fans coming in here and making fun of us as long as you can handle it back in return. it's all in fun.

that is correct. it is all good.

    dry you suck ass homer:

your telling me as of today your top 3 starting pitchers are better than the Twins?

Santana there is no one better. One of the best
Liriano soon to be cy young winner
Boonser and a rookie with great stuff.

Your staff has a 40 years old. Your staff is old and broken down. Out of the 3 twins pitchers posted you would want 2 if not all three. Thank god that will NEVER happen.

I would want them for the future, yes. But they suck now. Let's compare starting rotations, the ones from the beginning of the year:
    1. Johnson: 6-4, 5.89 ERA
    2. Mussina: 6-1, 2.82 ERA
    3. Wang: 4-2, 4.43 ERA
    4. Chacon: 4-1, 5.21 ERA
    5. Wright: 2-3, 4.18 ERA
    Your Rotation:
    1. Santana: 4-4, 3.42 ERA
    2. Radke: 4-6, 7.44 ERA
    3. Silva: 2-6, 8.28 ERA
    4. Lohse: 2-4, 8.92 ERA
    5. Baker: 2-4, 5.48 ERA

Congratulations. Your rotation sucks. Granted, Liriano is an imrpvement, but what, he'll lower your ERA some. But I'd much rather have Wang than Bosner. Wang has pitched a full season, Bosner one game. I'm sorry, I forgot the Twins have played such a difficult schedule, and they still have the BEST Rotation.

    Numbers don't lie.

As for your 3 pitchers, no I'd want mine as of now. RJ is old and ****ed up, yet his era is still amazing compared to yours. As for Mussina, he's one of baseball's best pitchers. And as far as you putting Bosner up there, fine, our Pitching Prospect, Phillip Hughes, blows all of yours out of the water. After all, does 1 game truly classify a player as good at all?

Yanks won again today but only 6-5...not a great win but a win is a win

Wow, Johnson had a really sweet game, and he knocked some guys down. Looked far more impressive than he has v. the Sox.

(I know, wrong topic, but there isn't an El Tigres topic up)

Then out of fairness to the others you will be Slagathor.
