Mussina pitched well again last night but he gave up a 2 run lead then the pen blew it in a 4-2 loss.

When the guys in the booth pointed out how well Farnsworth and Proctor had been for the Yankees after seeing Farnsworth get the call out of the pen i knew it was only a matter of time before he blew the game.

What a night all around for Jorge and w/ alot of big bats out of the lineup it was impressive the offensive explosion even if it was against the pitching deficient Rangers.

One of the greatest games i have ever witnessed. Cano made some defensive gems that will be forgotten in the midst of all this offense. The Game (Jeter) was 4-5 and even the out he made in the bottom of the 9th at least advanced Damon into scoring position. I am giving PayRod a pass in the 9th cause he absolutely ripped that ball, it just happened to be right at the CF.

Jorge coms through again, wang pitched 8 strong and mo finally got a 1-2-3 9th. Oh and Baltimore FINALLY beat Boston so we are currently tied for the 1st.

Wang was really good yesterday. That 2nd inning was huge where there were runners at the corner and he got the line out to A-Rod then on the very next pitch turned a come-backer into a double play.

Very watchable game last night.

we dropped the final game of the Tex series but Wright pitched very well which is a positive. Now it's on to the cross Town trek to shea to help the Mets fill their ballpark.
