    too bad Gomes plays for Tampa and also is a DH, so what's the difference

    Gomes had a filthy 1st month, pretty much provided half his teams offense, and has never been considered the best at anything. Yet his stats right now deem he is. They should give a little love to the D-Rays

    And for Gomes, well, Giambi's OPS was a good 220 points higher, and Giambi got on base at a Bondsian .554 clip.
