Mets Lastings Milledge does not belong on the Mets

A young, speedy OFer with some power, batting .349, does NOT belong on the Mets. I am very disappointed that Omar Minaya is yet to get rid of this "nuisanse".

In all seriousness though, I was watching a Mets game earlier this week and, damn, this guy is a beast. Too bad Da Mutts have the $117 million dollar man in CF.

I agree that Milledge is nasty. Is he supposed to play for the Mets this season though? I figured he would have one year in AAA first.

I doubt he sees time before September. The Mets have Beltran and Redman in CF.

If Redman plays over Nady then someone needs to shoot Randolph. Mets could package Milledge with others to the Nats for good ole Soriano.

No, I'm saying Redman is the primary backup in CF, not a starter.

And I am saying if he ever started over Nady then Willie needs a bullet! Diaz is likely starting right.

Nady's good versus lefties while Redman has speed. They both have their benefits.

Nady has pop to help fill the hole when Beltran needs a sit and can play CF. Have to get this kid ABs.

He should get his ABs from RF and LF, with Floyd and Diaz.
