    Happy Anniversary Wright!

    Other Baseball fans may not care, but Mets fans do. A year ago today, David Wright entered the Mets' locker room, promoted to the big leagues. He arrived early, but as his teammates filtered in, he was greeted with the sort of reception he has gotten ever since. Wight has been now premoted to the 5th slote. David Wright saying "5 is my lucky number".

    David Wright said this..."I'm a young guy coming up and I just want to fit in, not stand out," Wright recalled. "And I've got Cameron yelling at the top of his lungs, 'Where's the phenom?' Guys gave me a hard time, but that's how I felt comfortable, that's how I felt welcome. If the veterans would have been standoffish it would have crushed me and I wouldn't have been able to feel comfortable."
