Which current active player will make it to the HOF as a Met?

Which current active player will make it to the Hall of Fame as a Mets?

    John Franco
    Mike Piazza
    Maybe Carlos Beltran

Can anyone think of anymore players?

Piazza and that's it. Beltran has a long way to go before even entering the HOF discussion and Franco is NOT a HOFER.

Franco's not a HOFer! What world have you been living in for 21 years?

He is 2nd all-time in saves; 2nd, and you say he's not a Hall of Famer? Thats like saying Roger Clemens doesn't belong in the Hall of Fame. John Franco is a first or second ballot Hall of Famer.

They maybe a little to young, but in the future I think David Wright and Jose Reyes will make it into the Hall of Fame.

I don't care how many saves he has, he was never anywhere near the best closers in baseball. He compiled a bunch of meaningless saves, the save stat can be very meaningless, but that does not make him a HOFer. I guarantee you he will not make the HOF.

It's way too early to even discuss HOF w/ Wright and Reyes.

Well, I see where Junc is coming from, and I disagree. Saves don't mean much, BUT:

    2.84 career ERA
    Consistency
    4 time All-Star
1988 and 1990 Relief Man of the Year

    I don't know..he's certainly not first-ballot.

he made 4 AS teams('86, '87, '89, '90), that was a LONG time ago. He was a decent closer, he was not dominant. They don't have a blown save stat that goes back to his prime but I wish they did b/c he blew a ton. I don't think he gets in and I don't think he deserves to get in.

I don't think he deserves it either, but eventually he will get in.
