Jonny Niese dominates the Padres

Second game of the Padres/Mets doubleheader: 9 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs, 0 walks, 6 strikeouts for Niese. Only Chris Denorfia with a leadoff double in the third inning did any "damage" against Niese. Otherwise, he retired everyone else he faced.

Now, after playing a day-night doubleheader today, the Padres get to fly diagonally cross-country for a game tomorrow. I'm not expecting much.
