Mets Walk-off grand slam dooms Mets

The Mets gave up a walk-off grand slam to Adrian Gonzalez in extra innings, after K-Rod had blown the save earlier in the game, although he did inexplicably stay in the game to pitch a total of 2 1/3 innings. Apparently the Mets did not trust the rest of their bullpen. K-Rod had even thrown 30+ pitches the night before and this was an afternoon game. A tough blow for the Mets.

Adrian Gonzalez is a beast. One of the select few hitters who actually developed more power than the scouts thought he would.

The Mets are the laughingstock of the NL East. It makes me satisfaction.

Will Johan Santana ever get a break in New York? Another great start goes for naught.
