    Mets Something's In The Air Today

    According to Metsblog.com, the Mets have announced Omar Minaya will hold a press conference with reporters today from Citi Field at 3:30 pm, which will air live on SNY.

    So, either a trade is made, or someone's getting fired. Not sure which yet, although I guess it's more likely Bernazard to be fired than a trade....

    Apparently it is Bernazard getting canned. Personally, knowing the stupidity of the Mets, I expected them to fire Manuel and Minaya, make Bernazard the GM AND Manager, and even let him play SS every other day...

    Unbelievable. Press conference pushed back to 3:45. Can they not decide what they want to announce? This team is so dumb. Maybe they should have Minaya come out and just improv the press conference, make an announcement based on the media questions, not based on a plan or decision previously made.

    I've ranted about this press conference too much tonight to too many people, I can't right now. I'll give a recap later, though I'm sure you've all heard about the fiasco by now.
