Ryan Church and Jose Reyes have been put on the 15-day DL, Omar Minaya told reporters today. Fernando Martinez has been promoted, and is on his way to Citi Field. The Mets also traded cash to the Indians for minor-league SS Wilson Valdez, who will be promoted immediately to the 25-man roster.

Now, Reyes, Church, Delgado, Cora, Schneider all on the DL. Beltran out at least 2-3 days. Fernando Martinez has been called up, Wilson Valdez(played in Japan and Korea last year) is our new backup SS. It's insane. Putz and K-Rod aren't 100%. I have no idea how we're still winning games.....I guess we're lucky we have the Nationals for a couple games right now...
