Player Murphy to play full time in LF?

According to Mets manager Jerry Manuel, Daniel Murphy may play full time in LF instead of platooning with Fernando Tatis. Tatis could then either be the right handed bat off the bench we need, or he could take some AB's (VS Lefties) from either Murphy or Church...

Not a bad idea if you ask me, young prospects grow quickest when they are given constant playing time.

Yeah I just got done reading about this. Apparently Manuel likes Murphy over Church. I worry about Murphy's defense but maybe he has impressed somehow this early into ST. Manuel has also been talking about moving Reyes to third in the lineup. Its good to see him trying to mix things up and "rattle the cages" (Batman Begins reference).

Supposedly he would only move Reyes to get him into a different mindset, then once Reyes is focused on both scoring AND driving in runs, he would move back to the leadoff spot. We'll have to wait and see.
