    An Awful Trend

Does anyone else notice that the Mets always need to have one ****ing terrible god damn reliever. It's gone from Mel Rojas to Armando Benitez to Braden Looper to Aaron Heilman. And they're always ****ing awful. Every ****ing pitch is a hit, a flat breaking ball, a pain to watch. It's ****ing embarrassing to be a Mets fan when these ****ing shmucks come into the game. I honestly am not sure how upset I'd be if they just ****ing retired tomorrow, because EVERY GOD DAMN GAME Heilman comes into, he blows. Even when he came in with a ****ing 4-1 lead the other day, he had to give up a 2 run HR. It's almost like either he doesn't ****ing care, or he's trying to **** up (Gary Sheffield Style) in order to get his wish to start. UGH! I hate him. And Jorge Sosa hasn't been very good lately either.

The bullpen was the weakest coming in to this year and they didn't really do anything to improve. As a fan of a team with a shitty bullpen, I feel your pain bro!

I don't know. I mean, Wagner is fine. Duaner Sanchez has been great. Pedro Feliciano and Joe Smith have been good. Schoeneweis is a capable lefty specialist. Heilman and Sosa only had to be decent middle relievers. It's not like its a bullpen made up of terrible pitchers, they just all seem to underacheive...

Heilman should have been traded last year but I do like Feliciano. Schoeneweis isn't someone you can count on. Sanchez has recovered nicely.

I mean, I don't know if Schoeneweis can be counted on, but he is a decent/average middle reliever. So, I mean, we have a very good closer in Wagner, a very good setup man in Sanchez, and we have Feliciano who is reliable. Joe Smith has been very good this year, and proved he has the talent last year, as long as he can maintain it over a whole season. There's a solid 4-5 relievers right there. So we only needed Heilman and Sosa to be decent. They didn't have to be spectacular. But now they each have ERA's over 5. Even Heilman was decent last year...I just don't get it.

Everyone has their off years, Heilman was solid for the 200 some innings before this season.
