Just wanna say hi to everyone. I'm new here. Die hard mets fan since i was a little kid. Yes, i like the red sox too. Grew up 15 mins from NYC in jersey. live in pa. right now for college. I'm here cause, well that nj.com forum was filled with trolls who don't want to talk baseball.

Loving what many Yankees fans despise? Don't ask me though as I am clueless on rivalries being a Reds fan whose team has not had a major rival since what, the Dodgers (pre-division switch). (I don't count the stupid marketing ploys of "The Battle of Ohio... (that no one cares about." </end tangent>

Anywho, welcome to the forums. Even though they're aren't many Mets fans around currently, I hope to see you stick around as there will be a lot to talk about with the Mets and the playoffs in general.

By the way, what college do you go to? (I have a couple of friends who go school in Pennsylvania.)

How does that make you a die hard Mets fan?

You can be a fan of teams from both leagues. Overall I am a baseball fan. I root for the Red Sox in the A.L. but if they lose it doesn't kill me. I root for the Mets in the N.L. When they lose, it does kill me. The past few years have been torture on me.

That's how im a diehard Mets fan. You can root for one, while being a die hard for another.
