    Mets Lastings Milledge: Could Stay In NY For Good

    Update: If Milledge, called up when Xavier Nady went on the DL with an appendectomy, continues his strong start, he could stay with the team even when Nady returns, the NY Post reports.

    Recommendation: This does not come as a big surprise as Milledge has brought energy and life to the Mets and has hit well in his brief stint with the club. Milledge will probably remain as the starter when Nady returns, since there is little point in having him sit on the bench and not play nearly every day.

    Milledge has been hitting on an absloute tear so far. I do see the Mets keeping him up all season.
